FAQs

How can we help?

How do I get my cabinets delivered?

We can deliver your kitchen to anywhere in the UK. Once your design is complete and we can quantify the amount of units, just get in touch with us with your delivery details and we can give you an estimate for the delivery. Or, if you’d prefer, you can organise your own collection.

How do we receive the cabinets?

The cabinets will be delivered already assembled and we will provide the associated legs, end panels and infills required for fitting as per your order confirmation. You can request larger items to be flat packed for a small charge if you prefer or if you have access restrictions to get them into the property.

How are the cabinets made?

We only use the highest quality materials and fittings in our cabinets, combined with traditional construction methods such as mortise and tenon joints in the doors, and dovetail joints in our drawer boxes.

For more detail you can see how each type of cabinet is constructed within the relevant category pages.

Who fits my kitchen?

We do not at this time offer a fitting service but will help where we can to recommend fitters in your local area. A competent joiner should be able to fit your cabinets very easily and we are always at the end of the line to offer advice and guidance.

How do I get my cabinets painted?

We would recommend you use a local hand painter to carry out the paintwork to your kitchen after the installation. We can recommend painters depending on which area of the UK your installation is.

Which paint should I use to paint the cabinetry?

All of our cabinets will come primed in a light grey finish which gives the hand painter a good base to start from. Your hand painter may have a preferred brand of paint but we would recommend an oil-based eggshell.

What is the lead time?

Once your order is confirmed our typical lead time to manufacture your cabinetry is 12-14 weeks, but this may vary.

You will be notified of your estimated lead time when your order is finalised and drawings have been accepted.

How much it is likely to cost?

All of our cabinet prices are on the website so you can keep an eye on your budget as you plan your design. You can also refer to our Price Examples page which can give you an idea at a glance for a small or large kitchen in either range.

What do I do first?

If you are inspired by our product and would like to get the ball rolling on a new Kin kitchen then all you have to do is get in touch and we’d be happy to talk you through anything you’re not sure of. We have tried to give you as much information as we can on the website so that you have complete control, but talking it through never harms so please feel free to call us on 0191 580 6380.
